Intimacy Professionals Online Support Community
A peer network for touch practitioners, somatic sex educators, and sexuality professionals
“If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together.” ~ African Proverb
Our Mission:
The Intimacy Professionals Online Support Community seeks to bring intimacy professionals from multiple disciplines together for the purpose of supporting and facilitating education, collaboration, and referral networks. While being a member of this community does not mean an endorsement, we see the opportunity to get to know each other, by engaging in clinically minded conversation, as more meaningful than a website or resume. Ultimately, we hope these groups support the members in building their own teams in their local communities while helping each other be more knowledgeable professionals.
Who is this group for:
This group is open to touch practitioners, such as professional cuddlers, surrogate partners, sexological bodyworkers, somatic sex educators, sex workers, sacred sexuality professionals, BDSM pros, etc. We also welcome talk therapists and sexuality educators. If you are sex positive and work in intimacy (from platonic to erotic) this is a welcome place for you. We are welcoming of diversity across multiple identities - gender, race, ability, etc. We also require culturally-sensitive, respectful engagement from all of our members.
We meet on Zoom
every other Monday from 9am PT/12pm ET - 10:30am PT/1:30pm ET
every other Wednesday from 6am PT/9am ET - 7:30am PT/10:30am ET
Hosted by Brian Gibney and Michelle Renee
Intimacy Pros is a donation-based community. It’s important to us that it is accessible to all intimacy professionals. If you are able, please consider a one-time or recurring donation.
Tell me more!
“As a therapist, I have grown and learned so much from being a part of the Intimacy Pros Group. The very first time I came to a meeting, I could see that the colleagues I was meeting had skills, tools, wisdom, and a way of being with the people they collaborate with that we just don't learn in training programs for therapists. My way of being with clients, creating and holding our shared container, the ways I share leadership with them in session, the language I use, the skills and experiences I teach and create with them have transformed dramatically in the time I've been fortunate to learn from this group. Thank you for opening this door for me and welcoming me in! “
